Originally named the NYC 41, this car was part of a 9-car set operated by the New York Central. Delivered in 1948, the NYC 41 traveled between cities such as New York, Detroit, and Chicago. In 1964 it was sold to Mexico for operation on the National Railways of Mexico (NdeM) and renamed the #376 Club Monterrey. NdeM suspended passenger service in 1997 and the car changed hands to the Transportación Ferroviaria Mexicana (TMF) as part of the presidential train for the Kansas City Southern de Mexico. It was used in executive service until 2007 when it went into storage. The Club 41 joined ASTA’s lineup in 2022.

Please note that the Club 41 may run as an adults-only car on some special events when the Nambe and Rippling Stream are unavailable. All of our cars are climate controlled!
